I love newborns! LOVE them! While I truly love photographing all ages and stages in a person’s life…all for different reasons, newborns make my heart smile every single time!! As a mother, my favorite photographs are of my children when they were so fresh and new.

In recent months, I’ve had an influx of newborns and am thrilled about that. I’ve learned a lot with each one. The number one thing that I have learned is that I have to tell parents to relax and just watch )! Believe me: I remember what it was like to be a new momma and not want anyone else to touch that precious little thing. But, trusting me gets results!! I promise you that I will handle your little one as if they were mine. Their safety and comfort is my number one priority. And, if all of those are taken care of: the images will come!!

More often than not, I hear: “she hates being naked” or “he’s not a good sleeper”….if those sentences are followed by:  ”but, I trust you: so do your thing!”…it all falls into place!

NEWBORNS

I can hardly believe that October is just a few short days away and that Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it!! As fast as the days are flying by, it’s time to start thinking about your holiday portraits!! Each year it seems that my schedule gets more and more full-(sooooo thankful for the support of my existing and new clients each year!!)-making scheduling these mini sessions increasingly more difficult. However, I have been getting requests for a date for a month now and I just can’t let you down!! {Plus, don’t tell anybody, but I actually LOVE doing mini sessions!!}

This year, the amount of sessions will be SUPER LIMITED, and the offering is a little different than in the past. As you know, I changed my session options recently. I’ve decided to use those options as my guide for this year’s mini sessions. {Please see Session Details and look into Creation Plus option for more details on how the “upload” will work!}

This option will allow you to purchase wallets, 4×6 and 5×7 prints as often and in any quantity that you wish, for “consumer direct” pricing!! You will be the Holiday Hero as you take care of everyone on your shopping list with beautiful, custom portraits of your children or your family!! If you’d like to then order enlargements and/or custom designed Christmas Cards, they will all be 20% off for Mini Session attendees!! Best yet, discount will not expire until January 31, 2012, so you can save ordering your OWN prints (or Happy New Year cards!)  for after the Holiday rush!!

Studio sessions on the 12th are for children only.

There are limited FAMILY sessions also available. They will 30 minute sessions (instead of 20) and will be OUTDOOR sessions. I have several updated outdoor options and “sets”, including my new “antique” wagon!! I’m so excited to begin using this for families and can’t wait to share it with all of you! Family sessions will be available on a first come basis, 2 each on November 10th, 15th, and 26th at 5:00 and 5:30. There will also be 4 slots available beginning at 4:00 on November 12th. The family sessions will include the same upload option but will include 15-20 images. The cost for the family sessions will be $175.
